Maruti Suzuki has finally brought the lastest Jimny to india at auto expo 2020, it could be launched here as a 5-seater by 2021. The Maruti Suzuki Has been possibility that we might get a bigger Five-door version of the jimny in the 2020-21 financial year. expect the jimny to cost around Rs10 lakh with the SUV being retailed through the NEXA chain of premium car dealership.

Engine & Transmission

Globally, the Jimny is Available with the same 1.5-litre petrol engine that powers the Ciaz, Ertigaa and the Facelifted Vitara Brezza too. it has an output of 105PS and 138Nm.while a 5-speed Manual is standard, the Jimny also come with an option of a 4-speed at. A four-wheel-drive system with a low range transfer gear will likely be offered as standard across all models.

Maruti Jimny Features

The jimny can seat four passengers and packs six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), traction control (TC), hill hold, hill descent control, a 7-inch infotainment system with support for both apple carplay and google android auto, auto LED Headlamps with high beam assist, and auto climate control, among others.

Things We Like

1.The Jimny has a charm of its own thanks to its retro-modern styling. it is offered with plenty of attractive exterior color options, including dual-tone paint schemes.

2.Ladder frame chassis and low-ratio 4WD setup should give the suzuki jimny significant off-road ability, like before.

3.India-specific version could get a 5-door layout, with a length ticking just under 4-meters.

Things We Don't Like

1.Like the Mahindra thar, the jimny is a three-door vehicle and might not be as practical as conventional 5-door SUVs.

2.strictly a 4-seater, that too with a limited rear legroom.

3.with all the setup, the jimny's boot space (85 litres) is even less than the tata Nano's(110 litre).
