The 2020 city comes with two engine options: a 121PS/145Nm 1.5-litre petrol and a 100PS/200Nm 1.5-litre diesel. while the petrol engine is an i-VTEC unit,the diesel is a DOHC unit,making it more up to date.both engines are offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox while the petrol engine can be had a CVT as well.In terms of dimensions, the 2020 city is 4549mm long, 1748mm wide and 1489mm tall.it stands on a 2600mm wheelbase.

The new city is offered in three variants: V,VX & ZX. All three variants are offered with all the powertrain options: petrol MT, petrol AT & diesel MT.

Notable features in the new city include honda's lanewatch camera (part of blindspot monitoring wherein a camera is placed on the left side outside the rearview mirror),a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch screen,connected car technology with alexa remote capability,and a tyre pressure monitor. It also retains the older car's features like a touchscreen infotainment with apple carplay and android auto,climate control,cruise control,a sunroof,keyless entry with push button start and auto headlamps.safety features on offer are six airbags,ABS with EBD,parking sensors with a rearview camera and electronic stability control.
